Scope
This policy describes Ridge Register for Android and this companion website. The Android product is a landscape composition tool. Policy statements about hosting apply only when a publisher hosts this site.
Data you create
The Android app stores layout names, selected terrain tiles, cell positions, rotations, kept or working status, and the reduced-motion preference. These values are used to display and restore your layouts.
Storage
Layouts and preferences are stored in the application’s private storage on your Android device. The app does not create shared media files or request storage access.
Accounts
The app has no registration, account profile or sign-in flow. It does not request your name, email address or telephone number. A layout title is text you choose yourself.
Device permissions
The Android manifest requests no runtime or network permissions. The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location or device media library.
Connections
The Android app does not transmit layout data or make network requests. Its images and controls are included in the installed application. Opening a hosted companion website uses your browser’s connection.
Analytics and advertising
The Android app includes no analytics or advertising SDK and does not report usage events. The companion pages include no third-party analytics scripts, advertising tags or external font requests.
Payments
The app has no purchase, subscription, donation or payment flow. It does not process payment details or integrate a billing SDK.
Purpose
Stored layout data is used to render boards, calculate neighboring edge matches and contrasts, compare variations, and reopen saved work. Preferences control motion.
Sharing
The Android app does not upload, sell or share your layouts. It has no public feed, collaboration endpoint or built-in export action. Anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view the app.
Retention
Saved work remains until you clear app storage or uninstall the app. The app does not operate an online retention system. Clearing a cell or resetting a board affects that layout; a duplicate variation is separate saved work.
Deletion
Use Android Settings to clear Ridge Register’s storage or uninstall the app to remove its stored work. This cannot be reversed by the app. Board Undo restores only the last in-session board change, not deleted app storage.
Backup
Android application backup is disabled in the manifest. The app does not provide a cloud backup or synchronization feature. Device-level migration or management outside the app is governed by the relevant platform.
Security
Private application storage limits ordinary access by other apps. No storage mechanism protects against every device compromise. Use the device’s normal access controls and avoid putting sensitive personal information in layout titles.
Audience
Ridge Register is a general creative tool. It does not request ages or collect children’s profiles.
Website hosting
These static pages use local images, ordinary links and a small composition demo. They set no application cookies. A hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver pages; its practices depend on the host selected by the publisher.
Requests and contact
Use the developer contact published with the app’s distribution listing for privacy questions. No separate contact address is embedded here. Data that remains only on your device cannot be retrieved remotely by this app.
